The Gospel Message
God's Plan - Peace and Life God's desire is to save people. He wants you to have peace and an abundant life.
The Problem - Sin All people are sinners and sin separates you from God. Sin is insisting on having one's own way.
Sin's Consequence - Death The penalty for your sins is death. Spiritual death - separation of our spirit from God. Physical death - separation of soul and body. Eternal death - separation forever from God (hell).
God's Remedy - The Cross Jesus Christ came to earth and died on a cross to pay the penalty for all of your sins. This allows you to receive God's forgiveness and restore your relationship with Him.
Your Responsibility To claim your salvation, you must admit that you have sinned and ask God for His forgiveness and leadership in your life. You must understand that Jesus' death on the cross was sufficient payment for all of your sins. There is nothing that you can do on your own to earn God's forgiveness for your sins.
